Ron and his wife Jeri are the founders and owners of Ceramic Designs. They came to the Redding area in 1995. Ron has been a general contractor for over 10 years and in the tile business over 30 years. His expertise and attention to detail are what make him the best tile contractor in Redding. From remodels to new construction, he helps with every project detail.

Jeri and her husband Ron are the founders and owners of Ceramic Designs. Jeri has been working with her husband in the tile business for over 20 years, since moving to Redding in 1995. They have two children, Cari and Justin, and five grandchildren. Jeri is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ceramic Designs and keeps the office and showroom running smoothly.

Rhonda Baker started working at Ceramic Designs in 2010. Previously, she had several years experience as a Loan Officer at a Credit Union. Her superior customer service and ability to learn quickly has made her a great member of our team. She is now the Office Manager and Jeri’s “right-hand” employee. Rhonda is married to Mick, has two daughters, Sarah and Jennifer, and six grandchildren, Wayne, Lillian, Jared, Emily, Amanda, and Megan.

Jen Peterson started working at Ceramic Designs in July of 2021. Jen is Rhonda Baker’s daughter, and she is also married to Matthew Peterson, our granite foreman! She previously was in the printing industry for over 14 years as a graphic designer which has been a valuable skill added to our team. She also owns a photography business, Jen Peterson Photography, that specializes in Weddings, Portraits, and Real Estate. Her and Matt have four children, Emily, Mandy, Megan & Jared.

Gustavo Torres started working at Ceramic Designs in 2020. He has previous experience in the flooring industry. He manages our warehouse and has proven to be a valuable addition to our team. Gustavo is married to Juana, and they have four children Junior Gustavo, Valeria, Selena, and Roman.

Matthew came to work for Ceramic Designs in 2005 after his move from Las Vegas. His prior experience with operating heavy equipment, made him a natural as our granite Fabrication Shop Foreman. In addition to operating and fixing heavy equipment, he has an eye for detail and colors. These traits make him an expert in the trade. His family is his wife Jennifer, his three girls Emily, Amanda, and Megan, and son, Jared.

Kevin Alger starting working at Ceramic Designs in 2010 with prior experience in tile and granite. He is an expert in the field of hand polishing and does an excellent job at running our granite shop equipment. Kevin always has a smile on his face and is a valuable member of our team. He is married to Colette and father to Maddox, their miracle baby and also proud parents of Soren.

Justin came on board in 2022. He has previous management experience in the food industry and has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the fabrication shop. He is a quick learner and always has a smile on his face. He enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife Rhonda, and daughter, Alexis.

Alan is a native to the Redding area, born and raised in Cottonwood. Alan came to work for Ceramic Designs in 2001 and has grown his knowledge and skills in the tile trade over the last two decades. In 2010, he was promoted to our Tile Foreman. Customers often request Alan for their tile projects for his workmanship, honesty and integrity. He is married to Tiffiny, and has two children, Bryce and Shelby.

Luis Magdaleno started working at Ceramic Designs in 2007. Even though he didn’t have any prior tile experience, he picked it up very quickly. Luis is very mechanically inclined and a fast learner, which has made him a valuable asset to our tile team. He is married to Maria and together they have a son, Brandon, and two daughters, Abigail and Andrea.

Roberto is the younger brother of Luis and started working at Ceramic Designs in 2013. He moved to Redding to broaden his work experience. He has experience working in a variety of professions including house painting, agriculture, and tile. He has proven to be a quick learner and a hard worker, making him a valuable asset to our team. He is married to Brenda with two children, Kevin and Nathan. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer.

Miguel Magdaleno joined our team in 2015. Like his two brothers, Luis and Roberto, he is a quick learner and proven to be a valuable member of our team. Miguel is married to Lorena, and they have three children Joseph, Christopher, and Melanie with a fourth baby on the way!

Juan is the newest member of the tile division. He is a dedicated worker and has been a great addition to the team. He previously drove semi-trucks in Mexico and he enjoys playing soccer. He has four sisters and one younger brother.
